Effective date: June 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and 144 ("we", "us") for the use of the SecNote app on iPhone and iPad. By downloading or using SecNote you accept them. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SecNote on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.
Some features may require SecNote Pro, an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store. The price is shown in the app before purchase and charged to your Apple account. If a free trial is offered, the subscription begins (and billing starts) when the trial ends unless cancelled at least 24 hours before. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple handles all billing and refunds per its policies.
Everything you create in SecNote is yours. It is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and for the content you store.
SecNote displays vulnerability data (from the NIST National Vulnerability Database) and security news from third-party publishers. This content belongs to its respective sources, is provided for informational purposes only, may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate, and is not professional security advice. Decisions you make based on it are your own. Links open third-party sites we do not control.
Don't use SecNote to violate any law, to store content you don't have a right to store, or to interfere with the services the app relies on (Apple's services and the public feeds it reads).
SecNote is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data loss will never occur.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 144 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of SecNote. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using SecNote at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend the license if you breach these terms. Sections 4–8 survive termination.
We may update these terms; the current version will always be at this URL with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where 144 is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
